Tasmanian Irrigation ClearSCADA

Kindred North Motton Irrigation Scheme ClearSCADA Integration
Tasmanian Irrigation have utilised the services of integratedSCADA to commission the existing Kindred North Motton Irrigation Scheme (KNMIS) into their ClearSCADA remote supervisory and data acquisition system.

The KNMIS services pastures and cropping land around the townships of Kindred, Sprent, Abbotsham, Forth, Gawler, Ulverstone and North Motton, on the North West coast of Tasmania, and was originally commissioned in February 2014. The site comprises pump stations at Forth and Sprent, as well as remote stations monitoring pipeline flow and pressure.

The existing control platform is based on the latest generation Kingfisher CP-30 RTUs, which has augmented and modified by integratedSCADA to provide a dedicated DNP3 communications link to the Tasmanian Irrigation ClearSCADA servers.

Scheme operation is graphically represented in ClearSCADA allowing the Client to measure, control, monitor and collect data across geographically dispersed field operations. The ability to capture time-stamped event and historical/trended data allows Tasmanian Irrigation greater control over operation of their scheme, as well as providing information that can be used to drive asset maintenance strategies and to shape business decisions.

integratedSCADA are an Alliance Partner with Schneider Electric, who distribute and support the ClearSCADA platform.
